Comodi Trade is a Berlin-based commodities specialist supplying single-origin West African raw materials in industrial bulk to European manufacturers — led by unrefined Grade A shea butter from Bamako, Mali. We negotiate carrier and routing per shipment, hold ourselves to lab-verified quality standards, and structure terms so first-time buyers can verify product before settling the majority of the invoice.
Every batch profile is documented against accredited reference values. Our current production sample was independently analysed by UBF Untersuchungs- und Forschungslaboratorium GmbH (ISO 17025:2018) — peroxide value 1.0, totox 2.3, water content 0.2 %, classic Grade A fatty-acid profile. Detailed batch-specific COAs available on request.
We coordinate sea-freight to your preferred European port — Hamburg, Rotterdam, Antwerp, or others on request. Routing chosen per shipment based on best carrier offer, not locked to a fixed lane.
Standard terms are 30 % on order confirmation, 70 % after you receive and inspect the goods at destination. Quality verified before payment — a structural advantage over the upfront-LC defaults common in commodity trade.
The product
Single-origin, traditionally processed and chemical-free. It retains its full natural sterol and fatty-acid profile, making it suitable for cosmetics formulators and pharmaceutical bases where purity and provenance are non-negotiable. Food applications are scoped per enquiry.
